About Yang Pass Tourism Area (Dunhuang)

One of the great passes of the ancient Silk Road, southwest of Dunhuang, Gansu. Celebrated in Tang-dynasty poetry — 'beyond Yang Pass you will meet no old friends' — it now offers a reconstructed gate, beacon towers and a museum amid desert scenery.
