About Baiyangdian Lake

Baiyangdian, the largest freshwater lake in northern China, is a vast wetland of reed beds, lotus ponds and winding waterways near Baoding. Visitors glide through the channels in flat-bottomed boats, passing water villages that have sustained generations of fishing families.
