About Koguryo (Goguryeo) Cultural Heritage Tourism Area

Ji'an preserves the ancient capital sites of the Koguryo kingdom, including the Gwanggaeto Stele and the General's Tomb, a stepped stone pyramid. These ruins and royal tombs form a UNESCO World Heritage complex along the Yalu River.
