About Hongqi Canal - Taihang Grand Canyon

This site pairs a heroic feat of engineering with rugged nature. The Hongqi Canal, carved into the Taihang Mountains, delivers water through sheer cliffs, while the adjacent Grand Canyon offers deep gorges, waterfalls and scenic ravines.
