About Maoshan Mountain Tourism Area

Maoshan, a sacred mountain of Taoism in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, is celebrated as the cradle of the Maoshan school of Daoism. Visitors can explore ancient Taoist temples such as Jiuxiao Wanfu Palace amid pine-covered slopes and stone paths.

Jiuxiao Wanfu Palace (top palace) on the peak, Yuanfu Wanning Palace with giant Laozi statue, Huayang and Xianren caves, Xike Spring and the New Fourth Army memorial.

Suggested Route

Visitor center - shuttle to Wanfu Palace - Wanning Palace - Xianren/Huayang caves - memorial stele and museum; allow a full day.
