About Pingyao Ancient City

Pingyao Ancient City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the best-preserved walled city in China. Founded in the 14th century, it was China's banking center during the Qing dynasty. The 6.4km city wall, traditional courtyard houses, Rishengchang Draft Bank, and Ming-Qing era streets offer an immersive journey into imperial-era Chinese urban life.
