About Mount Tai

Mount Tai, foremost of China's Five Great Mountains and a UNESCO World Heritage site, has been venerated for millennia as a stairway to heaven. Emperors once climbed to its summit to offer sacrifices, and stone stairways still wind through its towering cliffs.
