About Yuantouzhu (Turtle Head Isle) Tourism Area on Taihu Lake

Yuantouzhu, or Turtle Head Isle, is a peninsula that juts like a turtle's head into the waters of Taihu Lake near Wuxi. It is famous for its spring cherry blossoms, classical gardens and sweeping lake views in the heart of Jiangnan.

Cherry blossom valley (30,000 trees), Taihu Fairy Island, Changchun Bridge, Yuntouzhu lighthouse and Luding Peak panorama over Taihu Lake.

Suggested Route

Chongshan Gate - shuttle bus to pier - ferry to Taihu Fairy Island - return - Horizontal Cloud Villa - Changchun Bridge; 3-4 hours express, 6-8 hours full day.
