About Xianshuiyang Tourism Area

A broad expanse of flat rock in Xianyou county, Putian, covered by a shallow sheet of stream water — a natural 'water plaza' you can walk across. In summer it becomes a favourite spot for wading and water games.

• A broad, shallow rocky riverbed you can walk across ('the shallow river sea'). • Cool summer wading and stone platforms.

Suggested Route

Entrance → riverside boardwalk → walk the shallow stone riverbed → nearby village; allow 2 h (summer best).
