About Hongya Cave (Hongyadong) Folk Customs Area

Perched above the Jialing River, Hongya Cave is an 11-tier complex of stilted houses that recreates the old mountain-city streets of Chongqing. By night its golden lights glow over the water, and its terraces and alleys hold teahouses, restaurants and souvenir shops.
