About Wucaitan (Colorful Beach) Tourism Area

Along the banks of the Irtysh River, wind and water have carved a series of layered sandstone terraces that glow in bands of red, yellow and green. The view at sunset, with the rainbow cliffs reflected against the dark water, is especially dramatic.
