About Guge Kingdom Ruins

Perched on a sheer clay cliff in western Tibet, the ruined palace complex of the Guge Kingdom reveals a lost medieval dynasty through its white-washed walls, cave dwellings and fading murals. The hard climb to the hilltop citadel rewards visitors with sweeping views over the surrounding desert plateau.
