About Gulongzhong (Ancient Longzhong)

Gulongzhong, outside Xiangyang in Hubei, preserves the hillside retreat of Zhuge Liang, the legendary strategist of the Three Kingdoms. Thatched pavilions, old trees and steles recall the sage's famous meeting with Liu Bei, celebrated in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Enter at the main gate, visit the cottage and the academy, walk the gardens; allow 2-3 hours.
