About Xianling Tomb of the Ming Dynasty (Mt. Mingxianling)

The Xianling Tomb in Jingmen, Hubei, is the mausoleum of the parents of the Jiajing Emperor of the Ming dynasty and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its stone spirit way, twin red gates and lotus ponds follow classic imperial tomb design.

Suggested Route

Walk the spirit way past the stelae and gates to the twin tumuli and the surrounding walls; allow 2-3 hours.
