About Hongtong Greater Locust Tree Root-Seeking Ancestral Park
The Hongtong Greater Locust Tree Root-Seeking Ancestral Park is China's most famous genealogical pilgrimage site. During the Ming dynasty's great migrations (1368-1644), millions of people were relocated from this location across China. Today, descendants return to trace their ancestral roots at the ancient pagoda tree and ancestral shrines.
