About Jianmen Pass (Jiange Pass) Tourism Area

Jianmen Pass guards the famed Shu Road, the historic cliff-side route that linked the Sichuan Basin with the rest of China. Flanked by sheer sandstone cliffs, this dramatic gateway has witnessed centuries of Chinese military history.

Suggested Route

Enter, ride the shuttle to the pass, cross the suspension bridge/plank road, hike Cuiyun Corridor to the summit; allow half a day.

Cable cars, shuttle buses and restrooms; steep stairs but the shuttle reduces climbing.
