About Grand Buddha at Ling Shan (Lingshan Grand Buddha)

On Lingshan Hill outside Wuxi, an enormous bronze Buddha statue rises above the waters of Lake Taihu, one of the largest Buddhist statues of its kind in the world. The surrounding temple complex, inspired by Chan Buddhism, includes ornate halls, a bronze palace and a dramatic fountain show.
