About Longgang (Dragon Jar) Tourism Area

Longgang in Chongqing is a spectacular karst landscape centered on a vast, jar-shaped sinkhole. A glass observation bridge suspended over the rim offers dizzying views into the forested depths.

Highlights

The giant 'Dragon Jar' sinkhole (over 300m deep); cliffs and karst scenery; glass skywalk/bridge; the 'Clouds' End' swing and cliff roller coaster.

Suggested Route

Enter at the visitor center; ride the shuttle to the Dragon Jar cliff area, walk the glass walkway and try the cliff rides; allow half a day.

Food & Lodging

Tujia ethnic cuisine and farmhouse dishes; stay in Pengshui county or in Longgang tourist-town lodges (unverified).
