About Lushan Xihai Tourism Area

A vast man-made lake in Jiangxi whose emerald waters are dotted with countless green islands. Sightseeing boats wind between them beneath the flanks of nearby mountains, an easy water-based escape near Lushan.

Highlights

A vast artificial lake dotted with over 8,000 green islands; Yunju Mountain with its ancient Yunju Temple; a glass-bottom bridge and lakeside hot springs.

Suggested Route

Board a sightseeing boat at Sima Wharf and cruise the island chain (the Jiulian Island line is recommended); allow 4-5 hours. Add Yunju Mountain temple if you have a full day.

Try Lushan stone fish, lake fish and Yijia citrus; stay at lakeside hot-spring resorts or budget hotels in Yongxiu County.
