About Three Gorges Tribe (Sanxia Renjia) Tourism Area

Three Gorges Tribe, on the banks of the Yangtze's Xiling Gorge near Yichang, celebrates the folk life and Tujia culture of the gorges. Wooden stilt houses, water wheels, boat songs and cliff-hanging coffins bring riverside tradition to life.

Suggested Route

Take a boat up the stream, watch folk shows at Bawang Village and hike the streams; allow half a day.
