About Mount Emei Tourism Area
Mount Emei, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of China's Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains. Rising to 3,099 meters, it features the 8th-century Leshan Giant Buddha carved into a cliff at its base, ancient temples like Baoguo and Qingyin Pavilion, and diverse ecosystems from subtropical forest to alpine meadow, often shrouded in its famous sea of clouds.
